One of the many things people disagree on is God's purpose for our financial prosperity and How God says we are to handle finances. Acts 17:11 tells us to Study to show ourselves approved. or in the American Standard it is worded "Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily, to see whether these things were so.
